Manager of DCPS Aspiring Leaders Program: DC Public Education Fund is looking for highly motivated and skilled talent to collaborate with staff in the Office of Human Capital at District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS). The Manager of DCPS Aspiring Leaders Program will design and launch a new cutting edge, comprehensive training program for aspiring leaders to create an internal school leadership pipeline that will run parallel to other development pipelines. The Manager will work closely with members of the DCPS Principal Effectiveness team to ensure that every DCPS school is led by a highly effective principal by 2015. This work includes significant training program design, needs assessment, planning and coordination, and facilitation responsibilities, and requires selected candidates to work effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement this program. This is a unique opportunity to work with an expanding team dedicated to developing DCPS’ human capital management strategies for improving school leadership.

The Manager of Leadership Development will design professional learning experiences for and implement assessments of leadership development opportunities for current and aspiring leaders. The Manager will work closely with the Principal Effectiveness team members to ensure that every DCPS school is led by a highly effective principal by 2015. This work includes significant design, facilitation and evaluation responsibilities, and requires selected candidates to effectively diagnose and prescribe responses to leadership needs across a range of positions in DCPS. This is a unique opportunity to work with an expanding team dedicated to developing DCPS’ human capital management strategies for improving school leadership.
