Callie Carroll
Director of Operations

 

Callie Carroll is the Director of Operations for DC Public Education Fund, managing day-to-day operations of the organization.

 

Prior to joining the Education Fund, Callie served as an Education Pioneers Fellow at GreatSchools, a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring and guiding parents to be effective stewards of their children’s education, and as Manager of Annual Giving at Project H.O.M.E., a Philadelphia organization committed to ending homelessness. Additionally, Callie has served on the board of Genesis Home in Durham, North Carolina and as a volunteer for many other community based organizations.

 

Callie holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where she concentrated in Social Entrepreneurship and Strategy and focused on the intersection of social sector work and ethical business leadership. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Haverford College, where she currently serves as a member of the Haverford College Corporation. Callie and her husband, Will, moved to DC in July 2010 and very much enjoy their new home in Mt. Pleasant.
