Caroline Phillips
Manager of Communications and Events
Caroline Phillips is the Manager of Communications and Events for DC Public Education Fund, overseeing day to day communications, social media, and special event needs.
Prior to joining the Education Fund, Caroline served as the Manager of Community Outreach at Reading Is Fundamental, the nation’s oldest and largest children’s literacy organization, and Assistant Director of Protocol and Events at Georgetown University, coordinating all logistics for head of state visits and managing the use of the university’s name, image, and logo by outside organizations. Additionally, Caroline has served as a freelance media relations manager for several local non-profits in the DC area including The America the Beautiful Foundation.
Caroline holds a Master of Public Relations and Corporate Communication degree from Georgetown University, where she concentrated in Social Media Strategy and Public Relations Writing and focused on Public Relations Advocacy. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Wake Forest. Caroline was born in London, England and grew up in the District.
