Eric Reese

Development Associate

 

Eric Reese is a Development Associate with the DC Public Education Fund. Eric is responsible for providing administrative and program support in an effort to engage the private sector and increase fundraising efforts to support reform within DC Public Schools. Eric plays a critical role in the day-to-day work of the organization, driving key office initiatives and offering support on various funding projects.

 

Prior to joining the Education Fund, Eric was a J. William Fulbright ETA grant recipient in South Korea where he taught conversational English at a public school to over 2,000 secondary school students and developed community level projects focusing on leadership and global interaction. While in South Korea, he also served as a special lecturer at Jeju National University, lecturing on classroom appropriate English to elementary school teachers during a two week program and collaborating with teachers to develop and implement a more practical English curriculum. 

 

Eric graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History from DePauw University, where he was an Eli Lilly Scholar and received the Randall L. Wilson Senior Award for his work in Economics.
