What: Fight For Children at School Night 2009
Come celebrate the accomplishments of three great DC schools: Bell Multicultural High School, Capital City Public Charter School, and The Washington Middle School for Girls, Fight For Children's 2009 Champions of Quality. Fight For Children is recognizing these schools as part of its Quality Schools Initiative. This program encourages replication of effective programs that help low-income kids learn and is touching thousands of children across DC.
Grammy award winner Patti Austin is hosting a fantastic evening of live entertainment featuring some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Wyclef Jean, Sheila E. and the E. Family, and NATURALLY 7. You won't want to miss it!
The Honorary Co-chairs of School Night 2009 are Mayor Adrian Fenty and Michelle Fenty and former Mayor Anthony Williams and Diane Williams.
