Job Opportunities

DC Public Education Fund is currently seeking applicants for both full-time staff positions and unpaid internship positions. These positions will play an integral role in engaging private sector and general public donors to support the improvement of District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS). FULL-TIME STAFF POSITIONS

INTERNSHIP POSITIONS

Graduate Development Intern: Reporting to the Portfolio Director, the Graduate Development Intern will support the Portfolio Director in developing and implementing strategies to raise significant private financial support (approximately $5-10M per year) for a specific set of projects that are part of the DCPS’ system-wide reform initiatives, and to manage several million dollars of existing grants. Undergraduate Development Intern: Reporting to the Operations and Information Manager, the Undergraduate Development Intern will support DC Public Education Fund's fundraising work by assisting the team in maintaining recordkeeping systems and files for existing major donors, assembling profiles, and compiling research on existing and potential funders for DCPS programs and initiatives. Additionally, the Undergraduate Development Intern will have the opportunity to contribute to 1-2 long term projects based on the intern's interests and staff needs.
